VCSS provides a 24 hour telephone referral service and information line for those affected by crime. Additionally they provide a range of counselling and support services to assist people whose lives have been impacted by crime, to try and resume their lives.

Relationships Australia offers either face-to-face or telephone counselling for VCSS clients.
The main focus of the Victims Counselling and Support Service is to assist people, who have been affected by crime, to manage the situation as best they can and to provide them with a range of counselling and support services that assist them to resume their lives.

Who is this service for?
Queensland residents who have been impacted by crime including:
Victims of crime.
Family members and friends of victims of crime.
Witnesses of crime.

What is involved?
The service involves sitting and talking with a counsellor about any difficulties that you are experiencing or any support you may require. As well as offering counselling to those affected by crime either directly or indirectly the service also provides information and referral to other support services. We also offer telephone counselling.
