You are cordially invited to an open day at Camellia House, home of one of the largest collections of Camellias in Queensland, in tribute to The Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Wander through 700 Camellias, set in five and a half acres of mature botanical gardens with an ornamental lake, 'ferry folly', creek, a variety of wildlife and a beautiful assortment of mature plants, trees, shrubs, including over 40 varieties of exotic fruit species to explore and enjoy.
Gates open at 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday and close at 4:00pm
Refreshments available in the Heritage Barn, including a Lions sausage sizzle. Browse through Camellia and plant sales, Astrology stall and quality Bric-a-brac on sale or simply enjoy the collection of Australian memorabilia on view. Classic cars, including Aston Martins will be on display on Sunday morning.
Come and explore this beautiful garden (once Daniel Morcombe's home) for $8 a head, with proceeds going to support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
NOTE: No car parking on site, there is parking available at Woombye Primary School & Lions Park.
